Locals and visitors to Cairns should not miss the opportunity to do this excellent Cairns Harbour Cruise. Most interesting to hear about the different types of Mangroves and to enjoy the views of Cairns from the water. The crew are very helpful and give a great commentary. You will see Crocodiles at certain times of the year. Tea, coffee, cakes and fruit was very much appreciated.

This was better than we expected, probably because there were not many aboard (a group of 8 failed to turn up ), the weather was perfect, it was not expensive and we hadn’t expected the additions such as free tea, coffee, cakes, fruit etc (and as 8 hadn’t turned up there was plenty for those that had!). Unfortunately we didn’t spot any crocodiles, but for a restful and enjoyable boat trip I thought it well worth it.

The 2-hour cruise was well-organized with very well-versed and helpful crew. Complimentary morning tea and snacks were provided. Sadly we didn’t get to see any crocodiles due to the high-tide at the time, but learnt a lot about them anyway.

This is a great way to spend a couple of hours. See Cairns from a different point of view. The weather on the day that we went was cloudy and light rain and it did not spoil the trip.

Great scenery, live croc’s on the mud banks, and a great ecology and biology lesson. Also, lots of birds including a Hornbill! Wonderful views of the city and a brief history of the city as a port

The boat Captain slowed and got up close to croc’s. Great way to spend an afternoon. Staff lovely. Very informative, knew their stuff!

What a delightful trip. Seeing a big salty croc sunning itself on the banks of a mangrove river was an experience we were glad not to miss. Easy trip for the young and the young at heart.
