Peaceful. An interesting commentary by knowledgable crew. We even saw a crocodile, which was a bonus. Only runs once a day out of season so we had to go in the afternoon.

I did the 2 hour Trinity Inlet cruise on the second last day and it was lovely going up in the inlet looking for crocodiles and learning the history of the area. The crew were friendly, and coffee tea & cake were supplied in our ticket.

Something interesting and informative. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Refreshments available and afternoon tea included.

A beautiful day to cruise up the inlet on a clean well-presented boat with a very informative commentary about the history as well as current day activities. Morning tea was excellent! We were surprised and pleased to see our old Manly ferry the “North Head” a bit worse for wear but still recognisable. This huge area of mangroves is well worth a visit and it was certainly enlightening to learn how important they are to the reef.

Locals and visitors to Cairns should not miss the opportunity to do this excellent Cairns Harbour Cruise. Most interesting to hear about the different types of Mangroves and to enjoy the views of Cairns from the water. The crew are very helpful and give a great commentary. You will see Crocodiles at certain times of the year. Tea, coffee, cakes and fruit was very much appreciated.

This was better than we expected, probably because there were not many aboard (a group of 8 failed to turn up ), the weather was perfect, it was not expensive and we hadn’t expected the additions such as free tea, coffee, cakes, fruit etc (and as 8 hadn’t turned up there was plenty for those that had!). Unfortunately we didn’t spot any crocodiles, but for a restful and enjoyable boat trip I thought it well worth it.
