Departing from Cairns Marlin Marina, you receive a safety briefing and are fitted with a life jacket and required safety gear before heading out onto the calm waters of Trinity Inlet. Following your guide, you ride past the working harbour and quickly find yourself surrounded by mangroves, creeks and sheltered channels just minutes from the city.

Across the hour, the route takes you deeper into the inlet’s winding waterways, where you can enjoy both open stretches and narrower passages. Your guide sets a pace suited to conditions and experience levels, allowing time to enjoy the ride and the scenery. Keep an eye out for birdlife and, with a bit of luck, saltwater crocodiles resting along the banks. The tour finishes back at the marina, with easy access to the Esplanade and waterfront once you disembark.
