Cairns Waterfalls & Atherton Tablelands Day Tour
Combine a cultural experience with Traditional Owners at Cathedral Fig Tree with rainforest scenery and swimming opportunities at Tablelands lakes and waterfalls.
Spend a full day among rainforest, waterfalls and freshwater swimming places with Waterfall Wanderers. This Cairns-based coach tour combines the Atherton Tablelands scenery with a guided cultural experience at Cathedral Fig Tree.
Culture, rainforest and freshwater stops
At the fig tree, Traditional Owners share their knowledge of rainforest life and cultural practices. The itinerary also visits Lake Eacham, Millaa Millaa Falls, Josephine Falls and Babinda Boulders, with opportunities to swim when conditions and your guide’s advice allow.
The appeal is the variety: a crater lake, a waterfall pool, forest walks and changing landscapes between stops. Lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea are included, along with return transfers from selected Cairns city locations.
Bring swimwear and walking shoes and expect a full day on and off the coach. Swimming locations and the order of visits can change; follow the guide’s directions around wet rocks and waterways.
