Daintree & Cape Tribulation Day Tour – Billy Tea Safaris
Travel with up to 20 guests through the Daintree, combining a river wildlife cruise, guided rainforest walk, Cape Tribulation and lunch at Heritage Lodge.
Join Billy Tea Safaris for a full day between the Daintree’s river, rainforest and coast. Travelling in an air-conditioned, high-clearance coach with a maximum of 20 guests, you have a driver guide to explain the landscapes as you go.
A day with several perspectives
A one-hour Daintree River cruise takes you along the banks in search of crocodiles, turtles and birds. After the ferry crossing, a guided boardwalk walk brings the focus closer to the rainforest plants and habitat.
Lunch is at Daintree Heritage Lodge, with an opportunity for a freshwater swim if conditions allow. The itinerary continues to Cape Tribulation beach for a walk and photos, then includes a tasting cup at Daintree Ice Cream Company.
Choose this tour for its smaller coach group and mix of guided stops. Bring comfortable shoes and, if you hope to swim, a towel and change of clothes. Wildlife sightings and swimming opportunities cannot be guaranteed.
