Tully River Whitewater Rafting

12 hours

Raft the Tully River with a guide and finish with a pub meal. Choose self-drive or a transfer package for this full-day adventure through rainforest-lined Tully Gorge.

Make the rapids the centre of your day on Raging Thunder’s Tully River rafting trip. Around two and a half hours on the river combine active paddling with the rainforest and granite scenery of Tully Gorge.

A full day for an active river experience

Your guide provides a safety briefing and paddling instructions before the raft sets off. No previous rafting experience is required, but you need to swim confidently in moving water and understand the safety instructions.

The base itinerary meets in Tully and includes coach travel to the river, rafting equipment and a pub meal afterwards. Return Cairns or Mission Beach transfers apply only when you select that booking option. From Cairns, the long drive makes this a full-day outing.

Water releases, weather and river conditions affect the schedule and activities. Do not plan around a guaranteed rock jump or waterfall stop. Check the minimum age, participation requirements and any separate rafting levy for your selected fare.
