Open Water Dive Course with Reef Liveaboard – Pro Dive Cairns

5 days

Choose a four-day eLearning or five-day classroom course, both including a three-day, two-night reef liveaboard and training towards PADI Open Water certification.

Learn to dive with Pro Dive Cairns, then spend two nights at the outer Great Barrier Reef putting your skills into practice. Both course formats include the same three-day liveaboard; the difference is how you complete theory and pool preparation.

Choose how to begin

The five-day course starts with two classroom and pool days in Cairns. The four-day eLearning option requires online theory before arrival, followed by one day of pool training. Choose the format that gives you enough preparation time rather than treating eLearning as work-free time saving.

At the reef, complete four supervised training dives. After meeting certification requirements, there are opportunities for up to five additional dives, including a night dive. Sites and dive opportunities depend on conditions and course progress.

Equipment, instruction, course materials, onboard accommodation and liveaboard meals are included. Training-centre lunches are extra. Swimming skills and medical requirements apply, and certification depends on successful completion.
