Six-Day Open Water & Advanced Dive Course – OceanQuest

6 days

Work towards both PADI qualifications over six days, with two days of Cairns training followed by a four-day, three-night OceanQuest reef stay.

Take your training from beginner skills through Advanced Open Water in one six-day Divers Den programme. The itinerary combines two days of Cairns theory and pool work with four days and three nights at the outer reef aboard OceanQuest.

Two courses in sequence

Start by learning equipment use and basic skills in the training pool. At the reef, complete the four Open Water training dives before progressing to five Advanced training dives with your instructor. Further buddy-dive opportunities bring the itinerary to up to 13 dives, including two possible night dives.

Progress depends on successfully completing each stage. This is a substantial training commitment, rather than a recreational holiday with qualifications automatically included. A guide for your first night dive carries an extra charge.

PADI materials, equipment, instruction, transfers and liveaboard accommodation and meals are included. Meals during the two Cairns training days are extra. Check swimming, age and medical requirements before booking.
