Five-Day Open Water Course – OceanQuest, Two Nights, Twin Share
Start with two days of Cairns theory and pool training, then stay two nights aboard OceanQuest. Complete your Open Water training with further diving opportunities after certification.
Combine your first dive qualification with a reef stay on this five-day Divers Den course. Begin with two days of theory and pool training in Cairns, then spend three days and two nights at sea aboard OceanQuest in the twin-share package.
Time to practise after training
Four instructor-led open-water dives form the certification component. Once the course requirements are completed, additional buddy dives let you practise your new skills. The package offers up to nine dives overall, including a night-dive opportunity; the guide required for a first night dive costs extra.
The reef sites are chosen according to conditions, with day-boat transfers connecting Cairns and OceanQuest. Meals, linen, tea, coffee and water are included aboard the liveaboard, while meals on the two Cairns training days are at your own expense.
Choose this option if you want more reef time after learning the basics. Swimming and medical assessments apply, and certification is conditional on completing the requirements.
