Cairns Outer Reef Cultural Cruise – Dreamtime Dive & Snorkel

8 hours

Pair two outer reef snorkel stops with cultural storytelling and demonstrations. This Cairns day tour includes snorkel equipment, refreshments and buffet lunch.

Add cultural context to a day at the Great Barrier Reef with Dreamtime Dive & Snorkel. This Cairns cruise combines two outer reef locations with storytelling and demonstrations that introduce First Nations connections to the reef.

Stories above water, discovery below

Cultural presentations are part of the journey, with the programme potentially including dance and didgeridoo demonstrations. At the reef, use the included snorkel equipment and site briefings to get into the water, with up to five hours at the reef across the day.

A hot and cold buffet lunch, morning and afternoon tea and a Lycra suit are included. Lifeguards supervise the snorkel areas, and buoyancy aids are available.

Choose this trip for the combination of reef time and cultural interpretation. Snorkelling is in open ocean and suits confident swimmers. Introductory scuba diving is a paid extra, subject to eligibility; there is no glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible.
