Stay at the reef after the day boats leave on Divers Den’s OceanQuest liveaboard. Guests transfer from Cairns to the vessel at sea, then settle into an ensuite cabin for a stay selected from the available one- to five-night options.
A reef stay built around your package
OceanQuest moves among outer reef moorings including Saxon, Norman and Hastings Reefs, choosing sites according to conditions. Snorkelling equipment and site briefings are included, with diving available through the appropriate additional package.
Air-conditioned interiors, exterior sundecks and onboard meals make the boat your base between water sessions. The experience suits travellers who want more reef time without returning to Cairns each evening.
Choose your cabin, trip length and activity option carefully. Certified diving does not automatically include a guide, and specialist activities may cost extra. There is no island, pontoon or dry reef-viewing boat; confident participation in open-water activities matters.

- Guests not using the pickup service check in at Divers Den, 319 Draper Street, Cairns. All guests must check in before 8:30 am.
- Return transfers from the Divers Den office to accommodation are available from approximately 5:00 pm on the final day.
- Introductory diving costs extra and is available from age 12, subject to medical suitability.
- Certified divers must show proof of certification. The standard certified-diving package does not include a dive guide; a guide can be booked for an additional charge.
- OceanQuest does not visit an island or pontoon and has no glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible.
- Follow your booking confirmation for final meeting arrangements and timings. Advise any participation or dietary requirements before travel.
