Cairns Half-Day Outer Reef Tour – Pure Snorkelling

5 hours

Keep your morning free, then snorkel the outer reef on an afternoon trip for up to 40 guests. Equipment, guided snorkelling and a return-journey snack are included.

Spend the afternoon in the water with Pure Snorkelling’s half-day outer reef trip from Cairns. This tour concentrates on snorkelling at a site selected for the conditions, with around two hours of reef time and a maximum of 40 guests.

A snorkelling-focused afternoon

Mask, snorkel and fins are supplied, with prescription masks and flotation devices available. Join the guided snorkel with a Marine Naturalist for help identifying coral and marine life, or explore at your own pace within the designated area.

The midday departure leaves your morning free in Cairns. A light snack is served on the return journey, and the scheduled return is around 5pm.

Choose this tour if you are a confident swimmer and want a shorter reef outing. It is unsuitable for non-swimmers and does not include a pontoon or dry reef-viewing activity. A separate pre-departure marine presentation is offered at the marina base.
