Have time to settle into an island day with Sunlover’s Fitzroy Island trip from Cairns. Return crossings take around 45 minutes each way, with the scheduled itinerary allowing up to six and a half hours ashore.
Choose beaches, reef or walking tracks
Swim or snorkel from shore, walk to Nudey Beach or consider a longer National Park track if conditions and your fitness allow. The main beach has coral rubble, so bring suitable footwear for both the shore and any walking you plan.
All packages include return boat travel. Snorkel hire and glass-bottom boat tours are included only when your chosen fare specifies them. You can bring food and drinks or buy them at the island’s bar and bistro.
This is a day you organise independently rather than a guided island itinerary. Allow time to return to the jetty for the 4pm sailing. The resort swimming pool is reserved for resort guests.
