A pontoon with activities above and below the water makes Sunlover’s Moore Reef cruise a varied day from Cairns. You have about four hours at the reef to snorkel, use the included dry-viewing activities and relax between sessions.
A choice of reef experiences
Snorkel the coral lagoon with equipment, instruction and a Lycra suit supplied. A lowered platform provides water access, with flotation devices available. Glass-bottom boat and semi-submersible tours give another view, and the underwater observatory lets you watch marine life from the pontoon.
The waterslide and enclosed ocean pool add to the options, while reef presentations and fish feeding provide information about the habitat. A hot and cold buffet lunch is included.
This variety can suit a group with different swimming preferences. Scuba diving, guided snorkelling, Seawalker helmet diving and helicopter flights are separate extras, subject to availability and participation requirements.

- Snorkel access is via a lowered platform. Flotation devices and buoyancy vests are available.
- Introductory diving is for guests aged 12 or older. Medical conditions may prevent diving, and diving is not advised during pregnancy.
- Certified divers must show proof of certification. Safety paperwork is required for diving and snorkelling.
- All scuba dives are guided; unguided diving is not available.
- Bring a towel, hat, sunglasses, sun protection and a change of clothes. Additional beverages cost extra.
- Follow your booking confirmation for final meeting arrangements and timings. Advise any participation or dietary requirements before travel.
