Focus on one outer reef location with Tusa’s half-day snorkelling cruise from Cairns. The captain chooses a site around Saxon or Hastings Reefs according to conditions, with up to two hours at the reef.
A shorter reef day with support
Equipment, safety briefings and guided snorkelling are included. A lowered platform provides water access, with flotation devices available and lifeguard supervision at the site. Between activities, relax in the air-conditioned interior or on the exterior decks.
This is an open-water trip, so discuss any concerns about swimming ability or participation with the operator before booking. There is no glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible alternative.
One introductory dive can be added at extra cost, subject to eligibility and medical requirements. A lunchbox can also be pre-ordered separately. The base booking should not be treated as including either of these extras.

- A lunch box can be pre-ordered at additional cost. Snacks and beverages are also available to purchase.
- There is no glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible.
- Bring a towel, hat, sunglasses, sun protection and a change of clothes.
- Follow your booking confirmation for final meeting arrangements and timings. Advise any participation or dietary requirements before travel.
